About the Office
Our goal is to create a relaxing atmosphere for your child's dental visit. Our new office is colorful and was completely designed for children. We have video games and toys in our reception area and a ceiling mounted TV above each dental chair for your child to enjoy during their visit. Also, our office is fully computerized for patient charting, billing, scheduling, and treatment planning. In addition, we utilize digital radiography for all our dental x-rays.
About the Dentist
Dr. Sukkawala grew up in Amarillo, Texas. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, and attended dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. After completing an Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency in San Antonio, he practiced general dentistry in Temple, Texas for the next five years. After seeing many children in his practice, he decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
He completed his speciality training in Pediatric Dentistry at the Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in Ohio, where he provided comprehensive clinical care for well children and those with special needs including emergency care, procedures in the dental office using conscious sedation, and treatment in the operating room under general anesthesia.
Dr. Sukkawala is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) and Board Certified in Pediatric Dentistry.
For children requiring general anesthesia for their treatment, Dr. Sukkawala has hospital privileges at The College Station Medical Center (The Med) and at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bryan. Also, he is a provider for the College Station ISD Headstart Program and is the pediatric dentist for the Beautiful Community Smiles Cleft Palate Team at Scott and White Memorial Hospital in College Station.
